Dr. Carlson holds a bachelor’s in biology, a master’s in international relations, and a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary programs—security and disaster management.

Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA from Oakland University, and his doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.
